About

Aaron  picked up his mum’s camera at 12 years old and his first pictures were of his dad.  He fondly recalls trips to the local pharmacy to pick up freshly developed rolls of film. Early on he developed a fascination with cinema and art. Through this is love for photography and video, over time he has developed a hobby into a passionate and successful creative career. Influenced by classical and contemporary art and cinema, Aaron is currently recognised as one of the top emerging portraiture photographers across Australasia, as well as taking out the Best Australian Director at the London Director Awards in 2023. He has received multiple awards and featured in various publications for both his photographic endeavours as well as being selected at multiple film festivals for his writing and directing work. As a sufferer of Cystic Fibrosis & Diabetes he has always felt like the "underdog" with something to prove. So It's no surprise that he has gravitated naturally into filming documentary content within the health industry as well as collaborating with social, racial and gender injustice movements to document their stories. Aaron lives in Melbourne, Australia, with his young family.

"I started taking pictures motivated primarily with nature and landscapes, but with time and the highs and lows of life.  My focus has shifted to capturing people and their stories. It's through writing and directing films, engaging with companies and developing relationships with people that I found further meaning and direction in my life both creatively and personally."
